SUMMARY
Sandstorm® is honored to receive Pantheon's 2026 Social Impact Award, recognizing our commitment to creating meaningful digital experiences for purpose-driven organizations. This award celebrates the power of UX research, accessible design, and technology to help nonprofits, healthcare systems, associations, and educational institutions make a positive impact in the communities they serve.

Celebrating Digital Experiences That Make a Difference

We're excited to share that Sandstorm has won Pantheon's 2026 Social Impact Award, announced on October 7 at the Pantheon GoLive Conference in Miami!

The Pantheon Social Impact Awards recognize digital agencies creating exceptional experiences, driving innovation, and making a positive difference through technology.

Of all the awards we could receive, this one feels especially meaningful.

For more than 25 years, our mission has been simple: do good work for good people.

We've had the privilege of partnering with organizations that advance healthcare, education, professional communities, and important social causes. Helping these organizations make a difference through thoughtful, human-centered digital experiences is what motivates us every day.

And having that work recognized by a technology partner we respect? That's pretty special.

Creating Meaningful Impact Through UX and Technology

We believe technology is most powerful when it helps people do something meaningful.

That might mean making essential healthcare information easier to find, helping association members access professional education, or connecting researchers with resources that advance scientific discovery.

Our work with the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) is one example. We redesigned its digital experience to help more than 50,000 members access critical educational resources, professional development, and support. Through UX research, accessible design, and Drupal development, we created a more intuitive, personalized experience that resulted in a 32% increase in pageviews and an 18% increase in average session duration.

For UNICEF USA, we redesigned its fundraising website to better support its mission of improving the lives of vulnerable children around the world. By modernizing its Drupal platform, improving accessibility, and simplifying content management, we helped create a faster, more flexible digital experience that empowers its team to engage supporters and advance its mission. The work contributed to a 100% increase in club registrations.

These projects reflect something fundamental to our approach: great digital experiences begin with understanding people, not choosing technology.

Our UX research helps uncover the challenges people face, while accessible design and thoughtful engineering help remove those barriers.

That's what bringing humanity to tech means to us.

Looking Ahead with Purpose

As a Strategic Pantheon Partner, we're excited to continue exploring how emerging technologies, including AI, can help purpose-driven organizations expand their reach and better serve their communities.

But regardless of how technology evolves, our focus remains the same: creating experiences that are useful, inclusive, and grounded in real human needs.

A heartfelt thank you to Pantheon for this recognition, to our incredible clients for trusting us with their missions, and to the Sandstormers whose curiosity, creativity, and dedication bring this work to life.

Congratulations to our fellow Pantheon Partner Award winners!

We're proud of what we've accomplished together and even more excited about the good work still ahead.
