Full-Time | 100% Remote
At Sandstorm, we're all about doing good work for good people, and we're looking for a Digital Analytics & SEO Analyst who's ready to dig into data and turn it into direction.
You'll be part of a curious, collaborative, and high-energy team that blends strategy, UX, and technology to create exceptional digital experiences. You'll own analytics reporting and SEO/GEO analysis across our client accounts. This role will be on the client delivery team but collaborate closely with UX and development.
This role is perfect for someone with experience in digital analytics and SEO who also follows how GA4, SEO, and GEO best practices are evolving and brings that thinking into client work. The ideal candidate has an affinity for spreadsheets, data, and figuring out the "so what" and the "why."
Responsibilities
Analytics & Reporting
-
Create, update, and review Data Studio (Looker Studio) reports pulling in GA4 data.
-
Make configuration updates in GA4 (events, conversions, audiences, filters).
SEO/GEO Analysis & Research
-
Pull, analyze, and act on SEO/GEO reports using Screaming Frog and SEMrush.
-
Conduct content audits and turn findings into clear recommendations.
-
Stay current on GA4, SEO, and GEO best practices and bring emerging techniques into client work.
Cross-Project Support
-
Coordinate with a senior consultant on GTM implementations and testing for tracking and consent mode.
-
Pitch in on content migration and QA.
-
Assist with user and stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and analysis for UX research projects.
Qualifications
-
Experience in digital analytics, SEO, or a related field, with GA4 and SEO/GEO tools as an area of real strength.
-
Demonstrated habit of staying current on the field — following industry sources, testing new approaches, adapting as GA4 and search evolve.
-
Comfort working across many concurrent projects rather than one deep account.
-
Willingness to take on tasks outside core specialty when a project needs it.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication for turning data into recommendations for internal teams and clients.
Bonus Skills
-
Exposure to GTM or tag management concepts.
-
Experience with qualitative and quantitative research.
-
Familiarity with content management (particularly Drupal, WordPress, or Sitefinity).
-
Industry experience with associations, higher ed, healthcare systems or non-profits.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected starting salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including:
-
