Join a creative, collaborative, and nimble team to be a major contributor to our digital experience design agency’s growth by identifying new sales opportunities and securing new client relationships. This person will leverage their established network in healthcare, conduct outreach, and work to convert those into qualified leads.

This leader will be focused specifically on purpose-driven organizations in the healthcare space (non-profit healthcare systems, insurance, retail health, etc). Serving as the industry leader and owning the healthcare vertical by building, leading, and driving new business; working with our internal teams to execute marketing and lead gen activities and contribute thought-leadership; while seeking opportunities to connect with Sandstorm’s targets.

Job Description

We seek an agency sales leader to join our growing team and expand our sales efforts by developing net new business opportunities and relationships and driving those opportunities through the sales pipeline from initiation to close.

This person has experience cultivating new client relationships and will be adept at consultative sales in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. This person will nurture relationships with partners and referral sources, attend industry trade shows, be adept at writing proposals, thought-leadership and social content, lead presentations of digital services, and write and finalize contracts. This person understands and embraces the history, core values, and culture of our agency and exhibits exemplary communication skills.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Healthcare industry experience and established network
  • Agency experience and ability to sell digital services is a must
  • Technical proficiency across websites/digital solutions (experience with Drupal, WordPress is a +) and custom development
  • Strong presentation skills around user experience, user research, UX/UI design, website development and content strategy

Position Responsibilities Include

  • Develop deep understanding of the capability, benefits and competitive advantages of Sandstorm’s digital experience design services (UX, user research and usability testing, creative and UI design, web development, brand strategy).
  • Communicate the value-proposition of Sandstorm services to prospective clients in all settings - virtual meetings, presentations/pitches, demonstrations, tradeshows and networking events, and in-person meetings (when appropriate).
  • Lead complex, multi-discipline, high-value ($200,000 - $1,000,000) services and solutions projects from initiation to close.
  • Research, conduct account mapping and ABM strategies, and identify prospective customers and individual organizations to target in the healthcare sector.
  • Generate new opportunities via cold outreach, web/social research, mining lists, networking, and related events and tradeshows.
  • Work with Sandstorm leadership to identify, qualify, develop and close sales opportunities.
  • Identify new healthcare vertical market opportunities and solution offerings and support bringing these to market.
  • Manage client expectations in liaison with our stellar Account Management team (product owners, client delivery leadership) and coordinate seamless transition to our account team once sale is closed.
  • Perform competitive analysis, keep pulse on competitive set and track and measure success.
  • Continuously maintain sales data and reporting using Hubspot.
  • Travel when required to cultivate new opportunities and attend trade shows and events.
  • Demonstrate high energy, bring enthusiasm, passion and new ideas to the team.
  • Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with people from a variety of disciplines, build relationships with the Sandstorm team, take proactive measures to solve problems, and commit to a high level of service.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of outside, enterprise sales experience with a digital agency.
  • Ability to sell services, including technology/development or professional/consulting services.
  • Existing network in healthcare vertical (prospects, customers, partners).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology or equivalent field.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with key team leads.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable making a volume of outreach each day.
  • Strong understanding and track record of relationship-based selling.
  • Attention to detail.

Salary Range: $100,000 base + % of commission on top-line revenue with no cap!

Location: You can work from anywhere in the US!
