At Sandstorm Design, we are committed to giving back to our community.
Each year, we select a non-profit in the Chicago area and volunteer our time and creative services for the concept, design, and production of an annual report. For 2008, we were honored by both Cathedral Shelter of Chicago and Chicago Foundation for Women for the design of their annual report.
In addition to our annual report design work, Sandstorm's compensation program offers two paid volunteer days each year for our employees to work for their own non-profits of choice. Locally through donations, Sandstorm Design is proud to support the Common Pantry, providing food and personal care items to local families in need, and the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, Chicago.
the history of the sandstorm student center
In 2003, Sandstorm Design launched the Sandstorm Student Center (SSC) for students and working adults interested in learning more about design firms and a career in design. The SSC is a free service and offers: FAQs from students, the opportunity for students to ask a designer a question, and advice on landing a job, internship or freelance assignment.
